
Heidi Watney (born May 19 1981) is an American sportscaster who serves as reporter for Apple TV+.A student at the University of San Diego, her previous experience in sportscasting included roles in MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations located in Fresno.Watney was a student at Clovis West High School in Fresno and participated in gymnastics, hurdles, diving and cheerleading. [1] Watney was a National Merit Scholar. She was a student at the University of San Diego with an academic scholarship. She graduated with distinction in 2003. Watney competed in Miss California USA in 2002, where she was first second place. Watney began her job at KMPH-TV (FOX 26), Fresno, in September 2003. She began her career as an early morning traffic reporter prior to moving into a anchoring the weekend in 2005 before becoming a weekday sports reporter. 3]Watney relocated to Massachusetts in 2008 to begin working for New England Sports Network (NESN). She was Boston Red Sox's gameday reporter. Watney hosted Ultimate Red Sox Show as well as Red Sox Report. Watney began her career at Time Warner Cable SportsNet, reporting as a reporter for LA Galaxy. In November 2012, Watney was hired by MLB Network. She worked there for nine years.
