Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson, in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson, (born April 24, 1982, Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.), American performer, songwriter and television personality who came to prominence as a pop rock star following having won the telecast talent competition American Idol at the age of 22 in. Clarkson was born at Burleson (Texas) which is a suburb near Fort Worth. Her vocal talents were recognized when she was just 7 years old by the school's choir instructor. the school she attended. Clarkson dropped out of high school to move towards Los Angeles where she failed to break into the world of entertainment. Following her return to Texas in 2002, the singer competed on the The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol. This singing contest allowed the audience to decide which singer they liked best. Clarkson was loved by viewers because of her charismatic voice and funny sense of humor. The prize she received for winning the contest was $1 million and a recording contract with RCA.
