Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
After being initially attracted by the shadows on trees she spotted on grass, she spent months exploring a process that does not present the subject as a 2-dimensional representation on canvas. The image has been transformed to its own reproduction, and the surface takes on the artist's interpretation. This is especially effective for objects that are living as well as items that have a shelf life like fruits and people. Her ephemeral painting style is evident and what survives in Alexa Meade's art is a photographic image. Photographs and painting are coordinated to create an unflattering two-dimensional space that is trompe-l'oeil. In certain places, the third dimensions can be observed, such as close to the eyes or in the hair. Meade occasionally integrates painted models within the surrounding space. This allows them to be part of the world that she created. The line that separates painting and photography is removed.
